  Like all of us, I will crib from any source, but my two cookie cookbooks that I really use are Carol Walter's Great Cookies and Pierre Herme's Chocoltes Desserts by Pierre Herme. I still make gingerbread and Snickerdoodle and butter cookies from the 1950's era Betty Crocker I inherited from my Mom's mom.
  For the visuals, I like Wacky Cakes & Kooky Cookies by Gerhard Jenne.
  What about everyone else?

    Better Homes & Gardens comes out with excellent cookie magazines around the holidays. I'll have to pull my actual cookbooks out to tell you the titles I have.
